Our philosophy

Too often, people invest based on emotions, which can lead to costly mistakes.

We strongly believe that a disciplined approach to asset allocation, combined with an evidence-based investment strategy is the best way to achieve better investment outcomes.

With this philosophy, we avoid big bets and drastic portfolio changes in favour of solid, steady growth.

Here's what We Propose

Tailored portfolio

We'll build a tailored portfolio adapted to your unique goals and time horizon, your tolerance to risk and market volatility and your tax situation.

Multi-strategy approach

We'll use a multi-strategy investment approach by combining complementary active and passive management styles for optimal diversification.

Tax optimization

We'll make sure your portfolios are designed to mitigate the impact of taxes as they can significantly reduce portfolio returns.

Does working with an advisor add value?

Certainly. You will benefit from reassuring professional guidance, enabling you to make sound financial decisions and, most importantly, avoid costly mistakes. An experienced advisor acts as the conductor of your finances, focusing on three key areas to optimize your outcome:

Portfolio Construction: asset allocation, rebalancing, tax efficiency, fee management;

Behavioral Coaching: managing financial behaviors, establishing trust and peace of mind, maintaining a long-term perspective;

Wealth Management: implementing comprehensive planning covering investments, retirement, mortgages, insurance and estate planning;

All of this adds real value that more than compensate for the fees.

Research by Claude Montmarquette and Alexandre Prud’Homme, CIRANO (2020) shows that working with an advisor over time can create
2.3 x more wealth: Value of advice.

Why is strategic asset allocation so important?

Asset allocation plays a significant role in the long-term performance of portfolios. Asset allocation refers to the distribution of portfolio investments across various asset classes, such as stocks, bonds, cash, real estate and other securities.
The strategic mix of assets determines how your investments are diversified across different asset classes, playing a pivotal role in managing risk, reduces the risk of total loss of capital, enhancing potential returns, and aligning your overall portfolio with your unique financial goals and risk tolerance.
In essence, strategic asset allocation empowers you to navigate the complexities of the financial landscape and position your investments for long-term success.
